How To Delete ClickUp Account
Discover how to delete a ClickUp account with Amalie — it definitely isn’t obvious!
- Write an email to hello@clickup.com requesting that the ClickUp account associated with your email is deleted.
- Download this template so you can copy and paste it.
- Add the names of the workspaces that you own to have those deleted too.
- Send email.
- Note that all the docs and information stored and created there will be deleted too.

Hi, I’m Amalie Shaffer from Systematic Excellence Consulting. And in this video, I’m going to show you how to delete a ClickUp account. So there isn’t a way to actually delete the account inside of ClickUp, you can delete workspaces. So your workspaces, like your company, for example. To do that, you’re going to click on those circles down at the bottom, and you’re going to go to your settings, so click on My Settings. And then you can go to spaces here, and you can delete them from right in here. And that’s just clicking on these three dots you can delete or archive, just know that if you are going to delete it, anyone that’s in that workspace will no longer have access to it.
Now to actually delete a ClickUp account, you’ll need to send an email to hello@clickup.com requesting that the ClickUp account associated with your email, so the email should be sent from the account that you created your ClickUp account with, you’ll want to send the email from there and then I just have this template emailed that that I would use and we’ll include that in the description of the video. So you can copy and paste it.
Essentially, you’re just asking that the ClickUp account be deleted that’s associated with the email address. And then just as an added information, I would include the workspaces that you own to have those deleted.
And that’s pretty much it for deleting a ClickUp account. Just know that once you delete any information or you know, documents that you have created there you’ll no longer have access to them.
